We understand that every matrimonial journey is different, and there may be a time when you decide to pause or conclude your search. This Cancellation Policy explains the process and conditions related to profile deactivation, account closure, paid membership cancellation, and subscription management on Marathi Matrimony. By accessing or using our services, members agree to follow the cancellation terms applicable to their account and selected membership.

Closing Your Marathi Matrimony Account

Members can choose to discontinue their Marathi Matrimony account whenever they no longer wish to use the platform. Account closure may be requested through the available account settings or by reaching out to our support team. Once the request is completed, the member's profile may no longer appear in searches and access to account-based features may be restricted.

Stopping a Paid Membership

If you decide to stop using a premium membership, you may manage your membership according to the options available for your selected plan. Cancellation generally prevents continuation or renewal of the membership after the applicable service period. Ending a membership does not by itself create an entitlement to a refund. Any refund-related request will be considered separately under the Marathi Matrimony Refund Policy.

Automatic Renewal & Subscription Management

Where subscription renewal is available, members are responsible for reviewing their renewal settings and managing them before the next billing date. Disabling renewal will prevent the membership from continuing into a future billing cycle, while existing paid access may remain available until the current membership period concludes.

Cancellation Due to Policy Violations

Marathi Matrimony may restrict or close an account where there is evidence of misuse, misleading information, fraudulent behavior, harassment, unauthorized activity, or violation of platform rules. Depending on the circumstances, access may be limited or terminated without advance notice when such action is necessary to protect members, their information, and the overall integrity of the platform.

Removing Your Profile After Finding a Partner

Members who have successfully found a suitable life partner are encouraged to deactivate or delete their profile. Removing completed matrimonial profiles helps keep the Marathi Matrimony community relevant and ensures that other members are able to focus on active and genuine profiles.

What Happens After Cancellation?

Once an account is cancelled or deleted, access to certain features may stop and the profile may be removed from member searches. Previously available premium benefits may no longer be accessible after the applicable membership period or account closure. Certain information may continue to be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or administrative purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Cancellation Does Not Mean Automatic Refund

Closing an account or discontinuing a membership does not automatically result in reimbursement of membership fees already paid. Refund eligibility, where applicable, is determined separately under the Marathi Matrimony Refund Policy and the terms associated with the relevant purchase.

Reactivating a Cancelled Account

Depending on the type of cancellation and the period since closure, a member may be able to reactivate an account or create a new profile. Availability of reactivation may depend on account status, platform policies, and whether the original profile data is still retained.
